Government and Politics
The form of government used in the Osean Republics is a Republic with a parliamentary system of government. Derek Leno is the current President. The President is represented himself in the House Of Commons as part of his political party.
There are three branches of government:
The legislature: The House of Parliament, comprising the President, and the Supreme House Of Commons; the Prime Minister represents himself, who by convention acts on the advice of his or her Ministers.
The executive: the Executive Presidential Council (the Presidency as advised by the Presidential Councillors); in practice, the Councillors are the President and Ministers of State.
The judiciary: the High Court of the Osean Republics
The government itself is run by a single-party rule by the Socialist Party.
